Deleted Scenes celebrates the iconic technologies that have disappeared from our lives but left a lasting mark on how we think, work, create, and play. From global business leaders and pop-culture pioneers to everyday families, these innovations shaped generations and helped define the future in countless ways.
In 2026, we shine a spotlight on one of the most influential devices of all time: the Nintendo Game Boy. More than a handheld console, the Game Boy became a cultural phenomenon, transforming entertainment in the 1990s and demonstrating the power of portable technology to connect, inspire, and influence the world around us.
Thirty gifted UK and worldwide artists will be displaying their incredible works at the "Deleted Boy" exhibition. These artists will use an original Game Boy shell as a canvas and source of inspiration to produce music and artwork inspired by the Nintendo Game Boy.

GUILDHALL
Physical exhibition held at the Guildhall Walsall , A Nintendo Game Boy shell is given to each artist to use as a canvas on which to produce a piece of art. Making a variety of artwork for the exhibition, including music, dioramas, and artwork .
