KITBASHBOX

Growing up in the 80's, and going to the video shop was to enter into a world of wonder. Walls and walls of stories in plastic boxes, and you could have one for a precious 24 hours and then it was gone! There was a real wealth of innovation - both technical and story wise and whenever I saw something amazing I always thought......what if. 

 

When I saw Tron for the first time it was cutting edge animation mixed with video and it was breathtaking,  watching it on my small square TV I slipped into this world and in turn began to dream. I always thought it would be so cool to see a light cycle destroy a recognizer by breaking through it - and that's why I chose the piece that I made.
